So Many Snowmen

To me, winter brings back wonderful memories of playing in the snow, ice skating on the pond and of course, building the perfect snowman. There is something about the happy smile, the carrot nose and the hat and scarf, that bring cheer to a cold winters day. When my Christmas decorations go away, my snowman come out and stay on display, through February. They bring touches of color and fun as the snow falls outside.

This snowman sits on the bakers rack in my kitchen and looks warm and cozy with his striped scarf.

A snowman candle with a pretty touch of sparkly red, sits in my kitchen. Two signs; both rustic and cheerful hang in unexpected places.

A mirror in my foyer stairway, gets a cute little glass snowman and two pretty snowflakes. You have seen this mirror with other holiday decorations and it is one of my favorite pieces to decorate. Sweet, yet simple.

Twigs for arms, add a special touch to this cute piece of folk art.

This rotund, simple snowman is a printable, from Pinterest, I easily added it to this frame in my laundry room. Again, the red scarf is the perfect touch of color on a gloomy day.

Happy Tuesday!

  14. Cute collection of snowmen Vicki. I adore the red scarves. I too have such fond memories of playing in the snow as a child. All except for how I'd stay out so long that my hands and feet were so frozen because I stayed out too long. I remember crying as mom ran them under warm water. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
    Hugs,
    Jann
